TIMEPASS BY PCB……..

July 16, 2008

 The Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday came down hard on embattled fast bowler Mohammad Asif, suspending him from all cricket after he tested positive in a drugs test during the Indian Premier League.

Dont u think friends that PCB is just doing time pass with Asif & Shoaib, firstly they were trying make lifetime ban on Shoaib but now they dont have any striking bowler in there team so they are using Shoaib. Not a single bowler of Pakistan is in form now. They just change the rules whenever they want they think that rest of the world is foolish & watching there TIMEPASS…….

NOTE- Reply will b appreciated.

Review Of Jaane Tu……

July 12, 2008

This is not surprising, because even before the release, the excitement generated by “Jaane Tu…” - the debut film of Aamir’s nephew Imran - was phenomenal and bookings began five days before the release.

It is a feat no movie so far released this year - not even the previous hit “Race” - could accomplish at the box-office.

Generally, the box-office collections of an average-runner tend to drop after Monday, but the collections of “Jaane Tu…” have remained steady

INDIA IS FLYING!!!!

July 1, 2008

The seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the Asia Cup in Karachi on Saturday was a grant achievement for Team India that went unnoticed, well almost!

India’s record in One-Day Internationals after this match reads as follows:

Played = 688
Won = 327 Lost = 328
No Result/Tied = 30/3
Won% = 47.67%

Did you notice anything peculiar in the above table?

If not, then have a look at the win and loss record again. This is the first time in India’s One-Day Internationals history that they have won more matches than they have lost.

Never before India’s tally of wins exceeded the tally of losses, not even when they looked quite invincible.

The following table gives India’s win-loss record after three major tournaments (when the side was supposed to be in its best form).

India did not have an impressive win-loss record even after the grand success in the 1983 World Cup in England [Images] or even after the 1984-85 World Championship of Cricket in Australia. However, the gap between losses and victories had narrowed down at the end of the 2002-03 World Cup in South Africa.

In 2006, India managed to have identical figures under won and lost columns, but they never had more wins than losses.

India’s ODI record:

after 1983 World Cup
Played = 48
Won = 18
Lost = 30
NR/Tied = -
Won% = 37.50

after 1984-85 World Championship
Played = 74
Won = 28
Lost = 43
NR/Tied = 3/-
Won% = 37.84

after 2002-03 World Cup
Played = 534
Won = 250
Lost = 260
NR/Tied = 21/3
Won% = 46.82

after the game v Bangladesh
Played = 688
Won = 328
Lost = 327
NR/Tied = 30/3
Won%= 47.67

Among the regular ODI-playing countries, only Australia, Pakistan, West Indies , South Africa and England have won more games than they lost, while New Zealand , Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and Kenya all have lost more games than they won.

AKSHAY IS BACK !!!

July 1, 2008

After the success of Aankhen, Waqt and Namastey London, Akshay Kumar has become the lucky mascot of Vipul Shah. He has now signed Akshay Kumar for his next venture titled Singh Is King.
But unlike his previous
films, Vipul Shah will not be directing Singh is King. The movie infact willl be directed by Anees Bazmee who has delivered hits such as Deewangee and No Entry. There are also rumors that Katrina will star opposite Akshay Kumar in this comedy action movie, Singh Is King.
